Cat Livingston, a musician and visual artist who lived in the High Desert near Joshua Tree National Park with her artist husband, Rik Livingston, and two clever cats. This CD is a compilation of vintage recordings of Cat's bands, from the past selected and remastered by Demolition Kitchen. Including recordings of the bands Cathy worked with Maurice Sendak's Little Boy, The Sesquipedelians, The Festive Shapes, The Hungry Ghosts and The Crafty Gate. This disc is one of three tribute releases that were commissioned by Rik in 2016, please share these with your friends and even if you didn’t know Cathy, we hope you enjoy her music. Volume one of this collection focuses on songs that Cathy wrote. Note: all of the CDs in this series are formatted to work with Apple’s iTunes software.
